## Future of Survival
Remember the Economy reset we planned? It’s permanently postponed now, and we are changing gears for Survivals development.
I’ll cut to the chase: **Survival is resetting**. Yes, you read that correctly: R-E-S-E-T. 
Now, before you tag me in every channel about how this is a bad idea, please take the time to read through this (and understand that we have the best interest for you)

I gave it some thought yesterday and I (as well as the other staff) decided on the reset in survival, but one that adds a bunch of stuff like **bosses, dungeons, nations, reworked enchantments, competitive economy** — Basically survival the way we meant it to be when we made it a year ago but never did cause we ran out of time. And we'll be able to **handle 1000+ players** on the entirety of survival with zero lag whatsoever, no strings attached.

Now if you bought store items you might already be thinking, *“WTF?! I SPENT MONEY ON THIS!”*. Anyone who made store purchases for Survival items, such as bundles and what not, will have their purchases refunded into credits. Now back to the main point:

Yes, you read that right: 1,000 players. At 20tps. No, I’m not smoking crack. That is a serious estimate and I’m not exaggerating anything. The team and I have done our homework on this and all the hurdles involved, but we’ll jump over them when we get there. If you want to know more about the technical aspects regarding this just ping me.

Without getting into too many details, here’s a brief summary:
- MMO-Style Dungeons
- Plot World that lets you buy land and create player warps for things like Shops
- Completely reworked Custom Enchants
- Nations: a system where multiple lands can collaborate all under one team
- Envoy and KOTH events
- Proper Leaderboards
- Monthly Leaderboard Payouts to Top Nations
- Crates will have Custom Enchants, Lootboxes, etc.
- Jobs will be replaced with a Quest system
- Enchanting menu that allows custom enchants to be obtained via XP
- Enchanting Tinkerer and Blacksmith
- Autofarmers that farm FOR you
- Coinflip
- Lottery
- Fully Fledged Wiki page on the website
- Fishing Contests at spawn w/ prizes and such, we used to have this but got rid of it

The old survival world will be available for download on Google drive, incase anyone has 600gb of storage to spare.

What a shame, countless hours have been wasted playing Survival on ArchMC. Some people have spent hundreds of hours grinding this game only for their progress to get scrapped. Why not add this Survival as a separate one to the current one to save people's progress? You could just have a separate, revamped survival while keeping the original intact. I don't understand; I feel that Survival is fine as is.

It would be beneficial to implement a conversion or reward system to acknowledge players who have invested significant time—hundreds of hours, in many cases (such as myself)—into the game. For instance, upon reset, the top 20 players could receive a special rank, tag, or other recognition. This approach would ensure players are rewarded for their dedication while maintaining the balance of the in-game economy

I realize that the way I’ve expressed my concerns might come across as ungrateful, but that is not my intention. I fully understand and agree with the update. However, based on what I’ve read, it seems that only players who have made monetary contributions to the game are receiving refunds or some form of compensation. I would simply like to advocate for players like myself, who have never spent money on the game but have invested significant time and effort, to also be acknowledged and recognized for our dedication.

Sooooooo I've been playing for 2+ years(this is my second reset) and I'm still on epic and all the money I stored up to hopefully one day buy maj is disappearing and nobody is stupid enough to sell me. yay :DDDDDDDD
